Call to Return: -

(This is the last Revealation. After this
revealation Rasulullah (S.A.W.A.S) lived for only
a few days)
(The Verses quoted herein are not the only verses
about Rasulullah (S.A.W.A.S). According to my counting, in Qur’an there are 370
verses about Him).
(i)
Rasulullah (S.A.W.A.S) was seized with
fever in Safar.
(ii)
The illness became worse. With the consent of his other wives Rasulullah (S.A.W.A.S) moved into the room of the Ummul Momineen Ayesha.
(iii)
As the last hour approached near, he asked the Ummul Momineen Ayesha,
“to give away to the needy whatever was in the house”. Five drahams were found and given away.
(iv)
Rasulullah (S.A.W.A.S) saw the congregation of his companions in prayer from
his room, smiled and lay back on 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.
(v)
Abdur Rahman son of Abu Bakar
came with a fresh “miswak”
(toothpick). Rasulullah (S.A.W.A.S) looked at it
intently and the Ummul Momineen Ayesha understood
that he wished to clean his teeth. She took the miswak from Abdur Rahman and
softened it with her teeth and gave it to Rasulullah
(S.A.W.A.S)
and he used it on his teeth as a healthy man would.
(vi) Then as the Ummul Momineen Ayesha says, “I suddenly felt heaviness in my lap, I
looked at him. His eyes were glossed over and I heard him saying, “I desire to
be with my God.” And ultimately Rasulullah
(S.A.W.A.S)
entrusted himself to Allah the Almighty.”
