Maryam in Qur’an

 Maryam (Mary
 in Qur’an: -
Recall when the wife of Imran said, ‘my Lord! Surely I have vowed to Thee  what  is  in  my  belly  to  be  dedicated;  accept Thou this of me. Surely Thou! only Thou: art the Hearer, the Knower’. Then when she bore her, she said, ‘my Lord! Surely I bore a female – And Allah knew best what she had born, – and the male is not as the female, and surely. I have named her Maryam, and I commit her and her progeny to Thee for protection from Satan the accursed’! (Surah ‘Al-e-‘Imran, 3/35-36)

And mention, thou in the Book Maryam, when she retired from her people to a place eastward. Then she took beside them a curtain. Then We sent unto her Our spirit, and he appeared to her in the form of a sound human being. She said: verily I take refuge with Compassionate from thee if thou art God-fearing. He said: I am but an envoy of thy Lord, and have come to bestow on thee a boy, faultless. (Surah Maryam, 19/16-19)

Recall when the angels said, ‘O Maryam! Surely Allah announces to thee a word from Him: his name shall be the Masih, Isa son of Maryam, illustrious in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought nigh. And he shall speak to mankind in the cradle and maturity and be one of the righteous. She said, ‘my Lord! how will there be a son unto me while no man has touched me’! Allah said, ‘so it shall be. Allah creates what He will’. When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, ‘Be’, and it becomes. (Surah ‘Al-e-‘Imran, 3/45-47)

And as to see who guarded her chastity, We breathed into her of Our spirit, and made her and her son a sign unto the worlds. (Surah Al-Anbiya’, 21/96)

Then she conceived him, and she retired with him to place far-off. Then the birth-pangs drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree. She said: would that I had died before this and had become forgotten, lost in oblivion. Then one called from underneath her: grieve not, thy Lord has placed underneath thee a rivulet. And shake towards thee the trunk of the palm trees, dates will drop on thee fresh and ripe. So eat and drink thou, and cool thine eyes, and if thou seest of humans any one, say thou: verily I have vowed to the Compassionate a fast, so I shall not speak to anyone today. Then she brought the baby to her people carrying him. They said: O Maryam! thou has brought a thing unheard of. O sister of Harun: thy father was not a man of evil nor was thy mother unchaste. Then she pointed to him. They said: how can we speak to one who is in the cradle, a mere child? He said: verily I am a bondman of Allah. He has given me the Book and made me a prophet. And he has made me blessed wherever I may be and enjoined on my prayer and purity as long as I am alive. And dutiful to my mother, and not made me high-handed and unblest. And peace be on me the day I was born and the day I die and the day I am raised up. Such is Isa, son of Maryam; this is the word of truth, wherein they are doubting. (Surah Maryam, 19/22-34)

And for their blasphemy and for the uttering against Maryam a grievous calumny. (Surah An-Nisa’, 4/1
